It's early season, and was no more than 10 degrees when Paul King started in the Lea Valley 25 on the E2 near Newmarket, so a storming ride didn't necessarily look on the cards.
But PK has had a fantastic winter's training and put all this hard work to good use by blasting round the course in 57:44 to take over 30 seconds off his lifetime PB that was set back in the 1990's.
This time makes Paul the fastest in the team so far this year, and with some potentially fast 10's lined up in the next few weeks hopefully there will be more PB's still to come.
